Supporting your Growth, Confidence, and Development as a Therapist
Pregnancy and early parenthood are often described as joyful, but the reality can be much more complicated. Becoming a parent brings so much change all at once. You both love your baby deeply and also feel incredibly overwhelmed. You may wonder why you are struggling when you are “supposed” to be excited. You may often not feel like yourself. You may be anxious, overwhelmed, sad, and exhausted. You don’t have to go through this alone.
At Mindful Beginnings, we have therapists to support you through this postpartum period. We offer a compassionate, non-judgmental place where you can be honest about your true feelings rather than what you “should” be feeling. We offer a warm, authentic, and safe space where you can share the parts of pregnancy and parenthood that are hard to say out loud. We know how tough it can be.
Our approach is compassionate and collaborative
Pregnancy, postpartum, fertility struggles, pregnancy or infant loss, birth trauma, feeding challenges, identity changes, relationship changes, and the adjustment to caring for a new baby have a major impact on how you feel in your journey into parenthood. Whether this is your first and tenth baby, we are here to help.
