She graduated from The University of North Carolina Greensboro with a Masters Degree in Counseling.. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Associate as well as a National Certified Counselor. She also is a certified Professional School Counselor.

Grace has a passion for supporting children, families, and young adults. She has experience working with children and adults with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, divorce, and difficult life changes. Grace views both children and adult clients as being part of a larger context, and that understanding that context is a vital part of the therapeutic processes. For children, parents or caregivers are a vital part of the process, and Grace encourages them to take an active role in their child’s counseling experience. Grace has worked with children with behavior concerns as well as peer difficulties.

Grace applies a wholistic view of her clients, taking their family, cultural, and societal contexts into account. Grace incorporates play, art, movement, song and dance into sessions with children, and works to provide developmentally appropriate interventions for each child. She views the client as the expert on their experience and aims to empower clients to work toward their own solutions. Grace believes all clients, child and adult, have immense potential for growth and is excited to partner with them on their journey.

Grace is accepting new clients for Saturday sessions only.
